From requirements to planning: how is an individual storage heating stove designed?

First, we take a look at what is already available. Is there a free chimney flue, perhaps due to an old wood-burning stove or open fireplace, which is now (finally!) to be replaced by a storage heating stove or even has to be.
Or perhaps a new chimney system needs to be installed? We will explain to you exactly what you need to ask your chimney sweep and give you all the necessary details so that he can answer.
The consultation for a stove construction leads us on to calculating the size of the combustion chamber. How large is the living space and how much of the house should the storage heating stove heat? Another important aspect of our glass heating doors is safety, which is ensured by the tightness of the firebox. We use viewing panels made of high-quality glass ceramic, which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also extremely robust. A basic oven door has to withstand very high temperatures, sometimes even burning logs that fall directly onto the pane, and is not forgiving of any manufacturing errors. That’s why we produce them exclusively in Germany, guaranteeing the highest standards.

The second layer: From combustion chamber to living landscape

If the combustion chamber and the smoke flue system are still made of fireclay bricks, you can develop flexible living landscapes around them in the second layer. This conversion layer no longer conducts heat directly, so you can have a seating area built right next to your storage heating stove.
In addition to cozy seating options, practical storage options for the wood are also possible. A little tip on the side: if you store the next load of wood right next to the stove, it will dry even further and burn even more effectively later.
