The storage heating stove as a whole-house heating system
An example:
While the storage heating stove or tiled stove boiler heats the main living area directly with its radiant heat, plenty of water is brought up to temperature in the built-in heat exchanger. This then flows into a so-called buffer tank, where it is stored and fed into the hot water circuit of the house as required. In this way, the heat reaches every tap and every radiator!
OUR TIP!
For an exclusively alternative heat supply, the parallel use of a solar thermal system is an option:
On hot sunny days, the solar system provides enough energy to heat your domestic hot water. There is no need to fire your stove. If the sun’s power diminishes in the cooler months of the year, the heating is provided by the whole-house heating system instead. An ideal synergy!
