A storage heating stove is a stove made of ceramic fireclay bricks. The very high weight of the fireclay brick guarantees an extremely high storage capacity. The wood is burnt on the base of the stove, i.e. on the fireclay brick; there is no grate and no ash pan.

Fireclay is a mixture of clay. The fireclay we use has been specially developed for use in tiled stove construction and tested in accordance with the requirements of the tiled stove association. (refractoriness, density, porosity, cold pressure resistance and thermal shock resistance). The result is fireclay with the properties of a long service life, optimum heat storage and optimum emission of healthy radiant heat over a long period of time.

The inner workings of the storage heating stove are calculated using a special computer program and guarantee maximum efficiency and environmental friendliness. The all-ceramic storage core, with its large flue gas ducts, absorbs the heat from the wood fire and releases it into the room in doses throughout the day, for up to 24 hours. This means low wood consumption and long-lasting, healthy and cozy warmth.

Of course you can see the flames, because every storage heating stove can have a glass heating door through which you can watch the fire. We use material from the manufacturer AMBIO and can therefore also offer you corner glass doors.
